I read a couple reviews before I book here and I'm pretty glad I didn't follow the "unhappy" ones advice. Yes,it's an older hotel, but these folks do their best to keep it clean and in the best shape they possibly can. It's on what's called the "other side" of the highway but it won't cost you an arm and a leg to stay there. It took three rooms before I found one I could be happy with but that was my fault, not the hotels. First room upstairs, I'm 61 and with knee sergury I can't climb stairs, happily he changed me to an room where I was not able to park in front of. Because I drive a customized Hummer,I want my vehicle where I can see it. I had nothing to worry about, there were fancier cars there then mine. So he put me in another room and with a smile on his face. I got to my room opened the door and was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, didn't smell,no crickets "very common in this area" and well kept. There was a microwave, almost full size fridge and freezer, marble lined tub and even a wall hair dryer. Free wifi, desk and sat tv. For the price I paid,I was more then happy and the service was incredible. Location was fantastic. Right across freeway from Six Flags, yes,u can walk there and save $30 on parking. And just down the street from Cowboy and Ranger stadium. And yes,There is a Wal-Mart right across Cowboy stadium. Would I stay there again? Without any hesitation what so ever. PS..These kind folks even provide free shuttle to and from stadiums.

Transportation to and from Knights Inn, Convenience.

Dead bolt lock on hotel room door did not work. Bathroom door would not close all the way shut. The pillows were not comfortable, but that is my own opinion about the pillows. I normally bring my own pillows. Being in a strange area I did not like it when the deadbolt lock did not work on the hotel room door at Knights Inn, Arlington, Texas. I booked 4 nights through, but never again. I stayed for 2 nights waiting for them to fix the bathroom door and the deadbolt lock on the hotel door, then I checked out and found another hotel to finish our stay in Arlington. This experience with Knights Inn was not a good one.

  • Group of friends

Very clean rooms. They were nicer than expected. Great price and very close to Six Flags.

We booked online with a credit card. Before booking, we called to see if we could reserve it with one card and split it when we got there. They said yes, so we booked it. When we arrived, they told us we couldn't do that. We explained that we called but they seemed very confused that we wanted to split the cost, even though they told us that we could the day before. We ended up having to put it on one card and deal with it ourselves. Also, we called and asked for a late check out since we were waiting to meet a friend at 1pm instead of 11am and were told absolutely not. Not a lot of customer service here. Pay the extra $10 and go down the street.

  • Group of friends

I loved that it is so close to Cowboys Stadium and that shuttle services were offered.

  • Family with children

I booked the room because it was about the only room left in the area for my dates. The price was so low I was already expecting the place to be run down with rats and have terrible staff. However when we got there, I was very surprised to see that it was actually not bad. The staff was very polite and the room was nice. Free wifi and continental breakfast. The room was also very clean; no bugs or nasty odors or anything like that. We went to see the 2012 cowboys thanksgiving game and Knights Inn took us there and back with their free shuttle service. If you're going to see the cowboys or the rangers this is the place to stay for sure. Also, they have a complete surveillance system that views the entire property, so you can feel safe knowing that your vehicle is ok while you're out at the game or just trying to sleep at night. They've got great prices on rooms, and you can't beat the free shuttle which saves you the hassle and money that comes with driving your own vehicle to the stadium. Overall the place was a great value and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

I can't say there was really anything I didn't like about Knights Inn, everything went without a hitch during my stay.

  • Older travelers

    I liked the price.

If you are like me and like hotels with good relationship between cost and benefit, be disappointed with this motel. It has a great price, but does not present benefits. The staff are not friendly, I saw the police circling the site, is located on the roadside, parking serves to store trucks. On the first night, my wife taking a bath found a cockroach. The motel has no entry control into its dependencies and the rooms are very exposed, my friend's room had a clogged bathtub - agreed to exchange the room - he was waking up at 02:30 in the morning by a stranger knocking on port. Cleaning is deficient and breakfast items decreases as the day of the week. When we're leaving, despite having already exceeded a bit 11:00 h, the staff cleaning the rooms - no one has uniform - practically threw us out of there. In short: if you go with your family, enjoy good service, organization, cleanliness and standardization, run this motel!

great staff, good shuttle ride, ok breakfast, great price.

  • Couple

The room was really clean, I love how clean it was. Was there on a weekend and it was quiet. Close to restaurants, Walmart, and Six Flags. Will stay there again

  • Family with children

Because of the mix up with the reservations, we did get an upgrade, which was nice.

The manager couldn't find our reservations that were booked a month prior to arriving.

  • Group of friends

The price was ok, we went for a football game at Cowboy stadium. We just wanted a place to sleep that was close to stadium.

The room was damp all the time and was not the cleanest but ok for our purposes.

The staff just amazing, helpful it was just a real nice stay !! The shuttle for the Rangers and Cowboys stadium !! Just perfect, pretty nice rooms and pool, place for park !!! Just awesome thank you !!! And everybody is friendly in Texas

Location of the motel near the freeway, and doesn't look nice from the outside but it's not a big deal !!

  • Older travelers

It was close to everything and easy access to the interstate.

The room smelled, there was no coffee pot or iron.

  • Family with children

I was very unsure about booking my room because of some of the other reviews I read, but I'm really glad that I did. The room was clean and cool upon arrival. The beds were very soft and had beautiful duvet covers on them ( I like this because unlike a comforter, the duvet cover can be taken off and washed regularly). The room had a microwave, refrigerator (there were no crickets in the fridge, lol), and a hair dryer. The management were very friendly and helpful! Oh, and the breakfast they offered was muffins, cereal, milk, juice, and these cool Texas shaped waffles ( with syrup) that you make yourself ( the only thing missing was butter-I love butter). I really love that they provide a shuttle to the area attractions! Overall- a good experience. :)

I would like to have butter available for the waffles (no biggie but like I said, I love butter)

  • Family with children

Whe I booked it stated I would pay 54.00 and the tax was excluded and that was the full price, whe I arrived I paid 64.00 ad I itched from the sheets all night like something was biting me, I kept filling small stings but did not see anything, but I had red bites all over my legs

  • Family with children

Great value for the price. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Microwave and fridge nice extra amenity. The shuttle service to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor was excellent. We stayed for one night and went to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor and the shuttle driver was prompt and friendly every time.

It is good for a couple of nights stay on a budget. No lotion and not alot of soap and shampoo.
